About Sarah
I am a lively, upbeat and positive person, and have been a competitive swimmer for over 20 years! I still currently train and compete at a high level, having recently medalled at the British Championships. I also enjoy open water swimming, and have raced distances up to 10k. Outside of the pool, I work as a behaviour analyst in Supported Living, and love any opportunity I get to cross over my work experience and personal passions. I have also recently been learning British Sign Language; I have passed my Level 1 qualification, and am now working towards my Level 2.

I will work with you to create lessons which are engaging, match your goals, and give you an opportunity to build your confidence and skills. I am able to offer sessions in the pool, or open water depending on your confidence and goals. I have experience teaching and coaching from beginner to national level, so I am confident in adapting my approach. I also have experience working with children and adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and physical disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy. I am able to work in public swim sessions, or at private pools. If you/your child has additional needs and would benefit from an informal introductory meeting before committing, I am happy to offer this. I am also able to offer online & video coaching support - whether it's writing sets, reviewing plans or helping you understand how to structure your training to make the most of your time. From building confidence in water, to fine tuning technique, there's something for everyone!

Sarah has really helped me improve my swimming technique and got me through my first triathlon. She gave clear feedback, helped me write sessions that stopped me from being bored of just going up and down, and really made me feel confident in open water. We did sessions in the pool and at a local lake which was great to be able to practice in both. Would highly recommend!
