I'm a senior undergraduate student majoring in biochemistry with a 3.4 GPA. As a previous private tutor, I'm committed to providing a comfortable and confident learning experience for my students. I'm patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. I understand that the study of chemistry and biochemistry can be challenging, and it is my goal to help you not only understand the material but also develop a love for the subject. I offer virtual tutoring via Zoom at convenient hours during both the weekends and weekdays.
My teaching method involves interactive walkthroughs of the material to ensure that you fully understand the concepts. I understand that every student has different learning needs, which is why I offer personalized lesson plans tailored to you. During our sessions, we will work on guided practice questions and work through any confusion or questions you may have. I will also provide optional post-lesson practice work to reinforce the concepts we covered and prepare you for the next lesson or your next exam.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my proficiency in many subjects in chemistry, including general, organic, and biophysical chemistry, as well as biochemistry. As a biochemistry undergraduate student continuing on as a graduate student, I understand the difficulties and impersonal teaching methods used in school and strive for a more connected and personal program.
