About Alejandra
Nothing makes me happier than when a student whom I've tutored reaches out to tell me that they raised their math grade by one or two letter grades! I am a student who has successfully taken all AP math courses offered at my school. I tutor in all subjects of mathematics and thoroughly enjoy making math less difficult and complicated for those who struggle and are in need of assistance.

I tutor grades from kindergarten to 12th grade. I find that my way of teaching a lesson is most successful when I complete an example of each type of question with my student, and right after doing so I allow my student to try practice problems on their own, of course, walking them through the process and assisting them when they get stuck. My way of looking at math problems is that each type of question has a process, basically a list of steps; instilling that "list" in my student's head is what I primarily focus on.
