About Nabila Ihab Gad
My name is Nabila Ihab Gad, and I am a dedicated science educator and advanced pharmacy student with a passion for making the life sciences clear, accessible, and genuinely fascinating.
My academic journey in pharmacy has provided me with an extensive foundation in human biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and laboratory sciences. Having spent substantial time analyzing biological systems at both molecular and clinical levels, I bring a practical, evidence-based perspective to every lesson. I do not just teach students what to memorize; I help them understand the underlying mechanisms of living systems so that science begins to make intuitive sense.

**A Mechanism-First Approach That Replaces Rote Memorization**
Hi, I’m Nabila Ihab Gad. I believe biology should never be a chore of blind memorization—it is a logical, interconnected story of how living systems function. With an advanced academic background in pharmacy and laboratory sciences, I help students replace exam anxiety with confidence by turning complex biological pathways into intuitive, cause-and-effect concepts.
---
**My Teaching Methodology**
* **Visual & Mechanistic Breakdowns:** We unpack complex cycles live on an interactive whiteboard, focusing on the *why* behind every mechanism so you understand the logic rather than just memorizing facts.
* **Mark-Scheme Mastery:** We reverse-engineer past papers to decode command words (*explain*, *evaluate*, *describe*) and target the exact scientific keywords examiners reward.
* **Active Retrieval:** Frequent, low-stakes concept checks ensure topics stay locked in your long-term memory.
---
**Typical 60-Minute Lesson Plan**
* **First 10 Mins:** Quick retrieval warm-up and resolving school homework questions.
* **Next 25 Mins:** Interactive deep dive into the core topic using live diagrams and clinical analogies.
* **Next 15 Mins:** Guided past-paper practice to apply the concept under exam conditions.
* **Final 10 Mins:** Key takeaway summary and a focused, bite-sized practice plan.
---
**Good to Know**
* **Levels & Curricula:** IGCSE / GCSE (Cambridge, Edexcel, OxfordAQA), American Diploma, AP Biology, and Secondary curricula.
* **Platform:** Interactive 1-on-1 online sessions via Zoom/Google Meet.
* **Included Resources:** You receive all annotated lesson notes, question packs, and summary sheets after every session—no stressful note-taking required.
