I am committed and passionate about the study of philosophy. I've led many Recognized Study Groups at UofT, tutored a few students in the subjects mentioned above, and have a good sense of what is needed to understand difficult philosophical ideas. I aspire to become a professor, and I am passionate about developing meaningful relationships with others and the content being discussed.

Areas of Focus: - Metaphysics - Epistemology - Early Modern Philosophy (Rationalists, Empiricists, Kant) - Modern Symbolic Logic.
Area of interest: Plato - Aristotle - Hellenistic Philosophy -Aquinas.
I am happy to help high school and undergraduate students with essay writing, logic, argumentation, understanding of texts, exegeses, overview of the history of philosophy, and help with concepts in general. I am happy to learn and do my own reading according to students' needs (e.g., if you need help with something not described above, I will dedicate some time to learn and absorb the content in order to explain it).

Perfect! Thiago was very responsive and even responded to my original request at 10pm with us even talking so that he understood what my needs were. he then caught up on the topic which was on the complex Fomal Logics and we had a couple of great sessions that has me fully understanding on the topic of Truth Trees and Derivatives. I highly recommend him in this area and I realize he has an overall passion for Philosophy and was never interested in trying to create hours for pay. He just wants to genuinely help!
