About Alexa
I am currently a senior earning a degree in Food Science from the University of Kentucky. I have taken nearly every science and most math courses offered. I have been a tutor for student athletes at the University of Kentucky for a year and have also recently been employed as a substitute teacher for a middle and high school. Some of the classes I have tutored have included English, Chemistry, Statistics, Geography, and Algebra.

My approach to teaching is to observe and adapt to each students learning style in order to communicate concepts with them most efficiently. I believe there is no skill more important than patience in terms of teaching as I never want to add stress to a students plate. Every student learns at their own pace in their own manner.
