About Shaivi
I am a Pharmacy student currently in my second year with a strong interest in science and healthcare. I have always enjoyed sciences, specifically Chemistry and Biology in which I achieved an 8 and a 7 in respectively in GCSEs. As I have completed both my A-Levels and GCSEs not too long ago, I am able to understand how challenging the exam process is. The reason I want to tutor is because I know how much of a difference it would make to a student's results when they receive the right support alongside a strong understanding of their subject.

My sessions will be tailored to the student's needs and exam board specification (AQA, OCR, Edexcel). They will either be evening sessions during weekdays or anytime during weekends.
I will identify the student's current level and weaker points in the first session and set goals based on their required target grade. My lesson will include a recap of the previous lesson in the form of multiple choice questions or short answer questions, a clear and detailed explanation on the topic as well as exam style questions to help consolidate their knowledge. I will also be able to help with exam technique as I believe this alongside a strong understanding of the content is the key to achieving high grades in GCSEs.
