About Mark
I came into tutoring late while reading for my degrees and after the advice of others. I started my 1st role in University, as part of an outreach project for the faculty of Science at Bournemouth University. I have taught ages from 4 to 80. My current clients include a student hoping to go to Eton and a young man with Dyslexia. I have a special interest in expanding the reading experiences of all students and I strongly advocate reading which challenges and questions. This approach has resulted in a 20% increase in average grades for some students who have gone on to have a better appreciation of literature. History is another passion which I teach and I hope I fire up a real interest in those I teach.
