About Ann
My name is Ann, and I am part of a team of teachers at The Singing School. I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto, and a teaching degree at O.I.S.E. teachers college, am an Ontario Certified Teacher and am a RCM Voice Gold Medalist. I teach singing full-time, and like many of our other teachers here, have had over 10 years of teaching experience.
I pursued classical voice studies for 9 years before joining local pop/contemporary music competitions and performances. With extensive stage experience, including TV opening acts for international artists, and performing for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, I will be able to offer you stage training to complement our voice lessons.

Here's what I can offer you:
- Fun and creative teaching style, you are going to laugh and learn and look forward to your lessons week after week.
- Established learning curriculum that focus on technique (that means you can work on the song of YOUR choice)
- Free weekly warm-up videos
- Results in competitions and festivals (Our students place top 3 in local and international music festivals)
- Results in RCM Examinations (Students frequently receive First Class Honors with Distinction)
- In-person lesson Bonus: Free MP3 recording!
The younger students I have taught have gone on being scouted by Nickelodeon TV Shows, The Voice UK, Let's Sing Kids China, and more.
Adult students found instant success and confidence in discovering ways to use their voices for the first time.
The best part - never miss a lesson. If you can't make it to a lesson physically, opt for an online lesson!
If our schedules don't match, I'm backed by a team of teachers just as qualified, just as fun, and just as amazing.
