About Mae
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in vocal performance and have nine years of experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. My training combines classical techniques with modern approaches, giving learners a well-rounded understanding of both technical skill and artistic expression. Over time, I have worked with more than seventy learners, from beginners discovering their voices to advanced singers preparing for competitions or professional opportunities. Many of my students have achieved significant milestones, such as expanding their range, securing performance roles, or gaining recognition in local music communities. Beyond teaching, I remain active as a performer and continue to study vocal literature and modern performance practices. Staying engaged with the art form allows me to keep lessons dynamic and current. My goal is to inspire students to sing with skill, creativity, and lasting passion for music.

My singing lessons begin with vocal health and foundational techniques. I emphasize breath management, posture, and warm-up routines that prepare the voice for safe practice. Students learn how to strengthen their natural tone, improve endurance, and build a reliable vocal foundation that supports them through various musical styles.
As students progress, lessons focus on vocal range, resonance, and pitch accuracy. Through scales, exercises, and repertoire, learners develop flexibility across registers and gain confidence in their intonation. I also encourage experimentation with dynamics, phrasing, and stylistic choices so students can explore their own artistic voice while mastering technique.
Performance skills are a major part of my teaching. Learners practice stage presence, microphone technique, and expressive delivery to connect meaningfully with an audience. I also provide strategies for handling performance anxiety, helping students showcase their voices confidently whether in auditions, recitals, or live events.
