About Nora
Hello, my name is Nora and I am a student in year 13 and currently studying Further Maths, Maths, Phsyics and Psychology for A Levels.
Having recently completed my GCSEs, I am familliar with the syllabus, exam style and common challenges faced by students. As a result, I can help students navigate through the curriculum.
In addition, as a tutor, I understand that everyone learns differently. I'm patient, supportive, and committed to explaining concepts in ways that is understandable for each individual. I'll work at your pace, providing guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Having achieved a grade 9 in maths for my GCSEs, I teach students ranging from primary school to secondary school (including GCSEs).
Lessons are held online. Timings are negotiable, but they will usually be for an hour, either during the weekend or in the afternoon during the week.
Prices range from £10 to £20 an hour depending on the level of Maths required to teach:
Primary school - £10 an hour
Secondary School (Year 7 to Year 9) - £15 an hour
Secondary school (Year 10 and Year 11) - £20 an hour
I also offer a free trial lesson. This allows us to get to know each other better, assess your needs, and plan our future tutoring sessions.
I teach my students in varying methods, each method personalised for my student. In order to understand the student's capabilities, I will ask them a few questions regarding what their strengths and weaknesses are and hope for them to do a short quiz before the lesson to help me organise and structure their first lesson. Lessons will be altered and structured accordingly from then on, with the student's input to help direct the lessons in the most beneficial way for the student.
