About Naomi
I am a computer programming tutor with six years’ experience working with high school and college students. I teach Java, SQL, C and related subjects, and have guided about 150–200 learners. My teaching philosophy is to use simple explanations, real-life examples, and stepwise practice to build confidence. I focus on problem-solving, exam readiness, and practical project work. My teaching mixes small theory blocks, many examples, and long projects. I cover Java (OOP, exceptions, multithreading, streams, JDBC, basics of Spring), SQL, C, C++, Python, data structures, algorithms, and simple Android concepts. Each topic links to a case study so learners see how code solves real needs, for instance a billing app or database report. I use stepwise problem breakdown, live coding, and regular homework to build muscle memory. Motivation comes from visible results: projects that run and grades that improve. Problem-solving is central: I teach logical steps, test-driven fixes, and efficient coding. I value integrity and honest learning. I stay flexible to adjust to exam schedules, assignment deadlines, or career goals.
