About Diluksh
Hello! I’m Diluksh, a passionate mathematics educator dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. With an A* in IGCSE Mathematics and an A in A-Level Math, I have a strong foundation in the subject and understand what it takes to succeed. Currently studying Cybersecurity at Curtin University Dubai, I’ve been tutoring since my IGCSE years, helping peers, my sister, and cousins master challenging math concepts. This experience has taught me that every student learns differently, and I’ve developed the patience and adaptability to make math accessible and engaging for everyone. I believe math doesn’t have to be intimidating. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I focus on building both confidence and competence, ensuring my students not only improve their grades but also develop valuable problem-solving skills. My Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
I create personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style. My approach focuses on breaking down complex math concepts into simple, understandable steps through interactive problem-solving and real-world applications. I use visual aids, guided practice, and regular assessments to ensure steady progress and build genuine confidence in mathematics.
Lesson Length:
Each class is 2 hours long, with two sessions per week. This structure provides consistent support and ample time to thoroughly explore topics without feeling rushed.
My Qualifications and Experience:
I graduated from IGCSE with an A* in Mathematics and achieved an A in A-Level Math. Currently studying Cybersecurity at Curtin University Dubai, I have extensive tutoring experience helping peers during my IGCSE years and continue to tutor my sister and cousins. My hands-on teaching experience has taught me how to adapt my methods to different learning styles and make math accessible and engaging for every student.
