About Calla
I am a passionate Mathematics tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students improve their skills and confidence. I hold a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, which gives me a strong academic foundation. I have worked closely with high school students preparing for IB and A-Level mathematics exams. I understand the challenges they face and guide them with patience and clarity.
My teaching focuses on building strong conceptual understanding. I believe students perform better when they truly understand the “why” behind each method. I use different problem-solving approaches so students can think flexibly. This helps them handle unfamiliar questions with confidence.
I also place strong emphasis on practising past papers. This helps students become familiar with exam patterns and question styles. It also improves their speed and accuracy under timed conditions. I specialise in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, ensuring students develop a balanced and solid foundation.

My teaching approach is built on creating a strong foundation in Mathematics through clear and simple explanations. I believe that every student can succeed when concepts are taught in an easy and structured way. I support learners who feel unsure about maths and help them build confidence step by step.
