About Nola
As an experienced Singing tutor with 18 years of professional and teaching experience, I take pride in helping students achieve excellence in both technique and performance. I teach school and college students, guiding them step by step in mastering the fundamentals of singing.
Throughout my career, I have celebrated many proud moments, especially when students who once struggled with stage fear performed confidently in public events and competitions. My teaching style is structured, detailed, and supportive. I focus on vocal exercises, breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm coordination, and stage presentation.
I also emphasise emotional connection to songs so students can deliver meaningful performances. I adapt my lessons according to each learner’s pace and strengths. My mission is to inspire dedication, confidence, and a deep appreciation for music in every student I mentor.

My methodology for teaching Singing emphasises creating confident and technically sound vocalists through a personalised and supportive framework. Flexibility allows me to design lessons that align with the student’s age, vocal maturity, and musical goals, ensuring safe and gradual development. Empathy enables me to connect with students on a deeper level, especially those who may struggle with performance anxiety or self-doubt.
Compassion fosters a learning space where growth is encouraged without pressure. Communication plays a key role in my sessions, as I clearly explain breathing support, resonance balance, articulation techniques, pitch correction, and expressive interpretation in practical and understandable ways.
Collaboration ensures students remain actively engaged in shaping their learning path by participating in goal-setting and reflection. Beyond Singing, I integrate Music Theory fundamentals, Ear Training skills, Vocal Health awareness, and Performance Preparation to build well-rounded musical confidence.
