About Akpan

I am Akpan Nsibiet, a graduate of History and international studies and a serving Corp Member in Nigeria. I want to become a teacher so I can make a real difference in people's lives. I take the task of developing young people into kind, thoughtful and contributing adults very seriously. I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today. I only hope that I can make that same kind of positive impact on the minds and hearts of my students.

About the lesson

Inquiry-Based Instruction Approach. Here, I pose thought-provoking questions for my students so as to make them independent thinkers. Cooperative learning approach. This method allows students to share information and complete goals as a group. Again, this approach builds organizational skills.
