About Wiling
I am an experienced French tutor with 14 years of teaching experience, working with high school and college students. During my career, I have taught 150–200 students and helped them build strong foundations in the French language. I am passionate about helping students succeed academically.
My teaching philosophy is based on understanding, practice, and motivation. I believe students should feel comfortable while learning a new language. I explain concepts in simple English and use examples that are easy to understand. This helps students learn with confidence.
I design lessons according to the student’s learning pace and goals. I support students with exams, assignments, and general language improvement. I also provide regular revision sessions and clear feedback to guide improvement.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome fear and hesitation in French. Many students have shown steady improvement and better academic performance. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

My teaching methodology for French is centred on practical communication and real-world understanding. I use real-life examples and simple case studies such as everyday conversations, travel situations, academic discussions, and workplace communication to help students see how French is used naturally.
I keep my lessons flexible and adapt the pace and teaching methods based on each student’s level, comfort, and learning goals. Collaboration is encouraged through interactive conversations, role-plays, and guided speaking practice that help students develop fluency and confidence.
Compassion is a key part of my teaching approach, and I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving.
Along with French, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, reading comprehension, writing skills, conversational French, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.
