About Guyhana
Through previous experience tutoring children, I have acquired skilled techniques which allows me to fulfill one of my main goals as a tutor which is allowing each and every child to explore different learning strategies, to see what works best for them, allowing them to space and support to thrive. There must be an appreciation that to improve the tutee's themselves must be willing to put the hard work in so I pride myself in providing a supportive environment where this can be achieved. As your tutor you will be motivated to work hard.
I aim for drastic improvements in my tutee's, not only in their test scores/grades, but also in their self-esteem. This confidence in their abilities will elevate their school experience and outlook on education.
As your tutor I will implement frequent active recall and spaced practice as I think this is a vital approach in retaining important information, especially with the vast amount of content that is required to be remembered at GCSE & A-level! I will also give you a multitude of revision techniques and practice questions, allowing you to obtain the grades that I know you have the ability to achieve. If you are a quick learner I will push you further to do harder work so that you don't become stagnant and become resilient in your learning, as this will help you as you move higher up in education.
