About Kathleen
I am a retired English Professor who has had a successful career in teaching. For the past two years since my retirement, I have been tutoring reading, writing, English, SAT, and ACT prep (the English component) to a number of students ranging in age from 5 to 19. I have tutored in comprehension, grammar, punctuation, and spelling with good results: improved grades, higher test scores, and a better understanding of the printed word.

Because I have always loved writing, my BA was in journalism. I am using that degree presently, as I write for the local newspaper. I went on to get my Master's degree in Education, and used that degree for my career as an English Professor.
