About Hannah
I am a History and Philosophy of Art Graduate from the University of Kent, and an Essay Master! Getting my First was was something I loved doing, and in the process I have established an efficient way to tackle any essay question.
GCSEs can be the most fun exams to learn for, and I believe they should be. I also know that anyone can achieve their dream grade with a patient tutor who knows their stuff. My experience with essay writing spans my whole educational life, and teaching for GCSE is an exciting adventure for me and, with my help, it will be for you too!
University is even more exciting! Learn about how to make your essays personal, convincing and ultimately high-graded at a high level as we tackle the correct way to search for, find and use evidence. Having a personal tutor is a brilliant way to build confidence in a topic and improve your skills beyond what is possible in a lecture hall or classroom. This is because of the tailored, personalised approach I take to students - adjusting work to pinpoint weaknesses and build off whatever foundations of skills and knowledge you have already, we can use our time together wisely and effectively.
We will look at your personal battles with essay writing so that we can approach the challenge of improving in a focussed and effective way. With the time off school, or away from Uni, it's possible that a large part of your confidence has gone missing - or simply a large portion of teaching hasn't taken place.
These challenges are what I am here for, and I am excited to start our sessions together!
