About Elizabeth
I have 4 years of education in sociology and criminal justice (both bachelors degrees) and a minor in business administration. I have 5+ years of tutoring/supplemental instruction experience; I have served as an educational guide to more than 150 students while being a student myself and possess great communication skills. I'm known for my ability to create structured learning activities that engage students and increase overall knowledge and confidence in the subject being studied.

I approach teaching in two ways. First, I see the connection between teacher and student as a learning experience for both parties; we seek answers together and strengthen our research and interpersonal communication skills. Second, I believe in the idea of the "growth mindset" which I use to encourage my students and myself to continually strive to be better and gain as much knowledge as possible.
