About Louie
I’m a 28 year old BA and MA graduate of both sociology and criminology respectively, who has studied social science topics since the age of 14. I currently work in an emergency services role and enjoy tutoring as a way to pass down what I have learned in relation to the social sciences, blending my learning both in and out of the classroom.

I like to take a friendly approach to tutoring, the study of social sciences has always been a passion of mine. I studied Sociology from GCSE through to BA level before completing an MA in criminology and I enjoy opportunities to help disseminate that knowledge to others.
My approach involves not merely telling students what they need to know to increase their knowledge base and pass their exams. But rather, foster discussions of the varied theories and perspectives that have built sociology and the wider social sciences, into one of the most engaging subjects of the 21st century. This is achieved in line with pre-written lesson plans that can be modified to explore the tangents that make sociology such an engrossing topic, while also ensuring that the objectives of the teaching are met.
