I have a degree in Computer Science for Oberlin College. During college I worked as a TA for CS classes, helping students with Python and Java syntax, basic programming concepts, Data Structures and Algorithms. I also have a year of professional experience in the Software Industry.

In tutoring CS I look for a personal rapport with my students and focus on the areas where they are struggling. I find that the most intuitive way to approach larger concepts is often to start with a homework problem or practice test question, and use solving that as an example to talk about the underlying data structures, algorithmic runtime, or other broader concepts.
