About Ondrej
I'm a final-year BSc Business Computing student at the University of the West of England, currently working towards a First. Alongside my degree, I have over a year of professional Software Engineering experience, as well as previous experience from a web development internship.
I offer online tutoring in programming, computing and IT. My industry experience means I can offer more than just textbook knowledge, I can show how programming and computing are actually used in the real world.
I can help with programming, Java, Python, Web Development, databases/SQL and general computing. I've also reviewed the GCSE Computer Science and Digital Technology specifications, so I understand the topics and requirements students are working towards.
My approach is relaxed and practical. I'll work at your pace, explain things clearly and focus on making sure you actually understand what you're doing rather than just memorising answers.

My lessons are relaxed, practical and focused on understanding rather than simply memorising answers. I use my professional Software Engineering experience to give real-world examples and break down difficult topics into manageable steps. Lessons are usually 1 hour and aimed at GCSE students, beginners and anyone looking to improve their programming or computing skills.
I've always had a genuine interest in computers and technology, and I want my students to develop that same interest and curiosity. Whether you're struggling with a particular topic or just want to become more confident with computing, I'll work at your pace and make lessons engaging, useful and enjoyable.
