About Lathif
I'm Lathif, a software engineer based in Sydney with a Computer Science degree from Lovely Professional University. For the last year and a half I've worked as part of a small engineering team building an AI hiring platform, where a big part of my role was training new hires and clients who had no technical background. I realized I liked that side of the job more than the coding itself, which is what pushed me toward tutoring. I'm patient, easygoing, and genuinely enjoy watching something click for a student after a few different explanations.

I'm a software engineer moving into tutoring, with a Computer Science degree and around a year and a half of experience explaining technical concepts to people with zero background in the subject. My approach is simple: I like breaking a problem down until it clicks, then letting students try it themselves with me nearby to help when they get stuck. Lessons usually run an hour, online or in person, and I keep things practical rather than just working through theory on a whiteboard. Happy to tutor programming fundamentals, algorithms, maths, or general high school science.
