About Osaf Ali
I'm Osaf, a software engineer. I've been writing Python professionally since 2022, first as a Python developer at Algo Financials, then as a software engineer at Zenduty, and now as a freelance full stack developer building web and AI applications for clients.
Most of my work is in Python, Django, FastAPI, Next.js and Nest.js, with PostgreSQL underneath. At Zenduty I built the Django APIs behind more than ten dashboard features and cut API response times by 75% by fixing slow database queries. I have also built and launched my own products, including Feedbackworthy, a tool for collecting and displaying customer reviews, which I still run.
I mention all this because it shapes how I teach. I use these tools every day, so I can tell you which parts of a syllabus matter on the job and which can wait. I also know what being stuck feels like. I once had to hunt down an OpenAI API leak that was quietly running up my bill, and I wrote about it on my blog along with other things that broke.

Most students who come to me have already tried YouTube tutorials and got stuck the moment they had to write code on their own. So that is where we start. In the first class I ask what you want to build or which exam you are preparing for, check what you already know, and plan the lessons around that.
I teach Python, Java and C++. We write code together in every session, live, on a shared screen. I explain the concept, you type it out, it breaks, and we fix it. That is how I learned, and I haven't found a better way.
For school students (CBSE/ICSE class 9 to 12) I follow the syllabus and we solve past board papers. For college students and job seekers I focus on data structures, algorithms and the kind of questions asked in placement interviews. Complete beginners are welcome. You don't need a math background or any coding experience.
After each class you get a short practice problem and my notes. If you get stuck between classes, message me and I'll help.
Classes are online and one to one, and the timing is flexible.
