About Christine
I discovered my love for teaching early and have been tutoring since high school, starting with middle school math and later working as a writing tutor in my high school’s Writing Center. I helped students strengthen their essays and feel more confident in their writing. In college, I continued teaching as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry, and in my final year, I became the Head TA, leading review sessions and supporting students one-on-one.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Computer Science, graduated with a 3.95 GPA, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. I also received the Max Chretien Computer Science Award from my university’s Computer Science Department for academic excellence. After college, I spent 7 years working as a software engineer at companies like LinkedIn, Disney, and Bank of America.
I’m a lifelong learner who believes that no two students learn the same way. I focus on explaining things clearly, breaking down tough topics, and helping you build confidence along the way. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy traveling, photography and exploring different types of tea.
My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging space where you feel comfortable asking questions and can walk away from each session feeling more confident and prepared.

I’m a tutor who believes learning works best when it truly clicks, not when you’re just memorizing and forgetting. My teaching style focuses on figuring out how you retain information best and building lessons around that.
I help students create strong mental images and intuitive explanations so concepts feel clear, memorable, and even fun. If something isn’t clicking, we approach it from a different angle until it does.
A typical session starts with a quick conversation to understand what you’re learning, what’s confusing, and how you usually study. From there, we break things down step by step, connect ideas visually and conceptually, and practice until you feel confident.
What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. I make it my priority to understand what will actually help you get the material down.
I work with middle school, high school, and college students, supporting a wide range of subjects and learning styles — whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or finally making sense of a tough topic.
