I have been teaching introductory programming for over 3 years at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I will always go the extra mile to help my students achieve success and build a skillset that will help them in their future career. There is a powerful moment in every emerging software engineer's journey where programming finally "clicks" and leads them down a path to success! I am incredibly dedicated to help students ignite that passion and love for technology.
My teaching methods focus on 33% teaching and 66% hands on, practical examples. I am here to help teach the fundamentals of programming and have years of experience teaching beginner programming concepts (variables, loops, functions, etc). I can, however, dive deeper into more complex topics, such as APIs and Database querying, as needed.
