About Cristina
My name is Cristina. I'm a translator, interpreter, Spanish teacher and overall language nerd. I have two uncommon animal-themed surnames-- go on, ask me about them, I know you're curious!
When I'm not preparing a lesson or working on a project, I love hiking, greyhounds, 19th century literature, martial arts, and exploring Merseyside and Lancashire with my Scouse fiancé.
When in Spain, I work closely with visitors from the UK to promote respectful and sustainable tourism in the region of Andalusia.
I have yet to meet someone who is "bad at languages" and if you believe you are, I'd love to have the chance to prove you wrong.

My lessons are for students who want or need a more individual approach to learning Spanish. Each of my classes is especially tailored to you and your needs. No more crowded classrooms and impersonal treatment-- give yourself the best atmosphere possible for learning.
Moving to Spain? Check out my Spanish for Expats programme, which includes the kind of "local knowledge" that language schools don't teach you.
Are you a student, whether in primary, secondary or further education, and need help to pass your tests? Get some help from a native expert who is familiar with the British syllabus.
Are you a businessperson looking to dip your toes in a Spanish-speaking market? My Business Spanish programme is just what you've been looking for.
You can already speak Spanish but your pronunciation isn't quite there yet? Polish it up with a bundle of Spanish Pronunciation sessions.
All my students get a weekly 30-minute conversational practice lesson -- no added cost!

I am delighted with Cristina. My son has been taking lessons with her for over three years and she has turned his academic life around. He has gone from failing to passing with flying colours, and now he enjoys English. She is the only teacher I have met who has been able to work with my son, who has ADHD.

Estoy encantado con Cristina. Mi hijo lleva mas de 3 años dando clase con ella y le ha vuelto su vida academica del reves, ha pasado de ser un niño que cateaba a aprobar con notable y ahora le gusta el inglés. Es la única profesora que he conocido que ha sabido trabajar con mi hijo con TDa.View more recommendations
