About Atkin
From a young age, learning how the world works has fascinated me. My father garnered curiosity by exposing me to the cutting edge of concepts of today. Now, I am studying aerospace at CU boulder. I have taken rigorous calculus, physics, and computer science classes.
When I teach, I hope to inspire my young students to seek answers just like like my father inspired me.
I am available for tutoring elementary to high school students in their math and physics courses!

I learn best when my teachers help me arrive at conclusions on my own. I try to ask a series of small conceptual questions to my students so they can understand underlying patterns in the calculations they perform. In this way, the student is not simply memorizing the steps to a math problem. Instead, they have a deep conceptual understanding of the purpose of each step.
