About Daniela
Are you ready to sing with clarity, strength, and soul? With 8 years of tutoring experience in Singing, I’ve helped countless school and college students transform their voices—and their confidence—through personalized, goal-driven vocal coaching. Singing is more than hitting the right notes. It’s about telling a story, conveying emotion, and connecting with yourself and others. My mission is to help students become technically skilled and emotionally expressive singers. We focus on essential vocal skills like breath management, tone production, intonation, diction, and resonance—but also on musical interpretation, storytelling, and emotional connection. I use a variety of innovative methods to make sessions fun and effective. Students benefit from record-and-review practice, pitch-tracking tools, and guided warm-up libraries tailored to their vocal type. I also create themed vocal challenges, such as genre weeks (Pop Week, Broadway Week, Indie Week), that help students step outside their comfort zones and expand their repertoire. My classroom is a no-judgment zone. Students are encouraged to try, to fail, to try again—and to celebrate every bit of growth. Whether preparing for school concerts, college auditions, or simply learning for joy, each student receives a custom plan that includes song study, ear training, and performance coaching. My lessons also address vocal health and stamina, essential for students involved in regular performances or long rehearsals. I train students to care for their voice through proper hydration, rest, warm-up/cool-down routines, and safe singing techniques. If you’re a student who wants to sing with purpose and power—or a beginner who wants to explore what your voice can do—I’m here to guide you on that journey with creativity, empathy, and expert instruction. Together, let’s help your voice tell your story.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the understanding that the voice is not only a musical instrument but a reflection of the singer’s body, mind, and spirit. Singing integrates breath, movement, thought, and emotion in a way that is inherently personal. Because of this, my approach is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in holistic development. I begin with technical work that establishes efficiency and vocal health—focusing on alignment, breath support, onsets and releases, tone balance, and register coordination. These core principles are taught with clarity and adaptability, adjusted for each student’s unique instrument and learning pace. I incorporate visual, kinesthetic, and auditory feedback methods to support different learning styles and deepen vocal awareness. Technique, however, is not an endpoint. I help students bring their voices into alignment with their inner world—developing tools to convey emotion, nuance, and story. We explore the intersection of text, music, and intention through interpretive exercises and guided performance practice. Each phrase is treated as a living moment with dramatic weight and expressive choices. This kind of artistry is cultivated in tandem with cultural literacy. In my studio, students engage with repertoire from a variety of traditions, languages, and time periods. We research the background and performance practice of each piece, asking: Who wrote this music? For whom? Under what conditions? What are our responsibilities as performers today? This process not only informs technical and stylistic choices but also promotes awareness and respect. Finally, perseverance is a skill I aim to nurture in every student. Vocal development is rarely linear—it requires trust, patience, and the ability to remain curious through setbacks. I help students set achievable goals, reflect on their growth, and build resilience through mindful practice. My studio is a space of trust and openness, where effort is honored and creativity is celebrated. In the end, I strive to guide singers toward technical freedom, expressive confidence, and a deep connection to the music they share.
