About Ana
I have a Master's in Music, studied in UTEP (El Paso, TX). I grew up in Mexico, and I started teaching English to Spanish speakers, now that I had the experience to live in a 100% English environment, I discovered what are the things that English speakers can get confused about the Spanish language, and its use culturally. Since certain concepts don't have a literal translation, they require some cultural explanation to be able to use the concepts with accuracy, I can help you understand both the literal meaning and the cultural meaning in a structured way.

What is The Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Method? Because you learn the Spanish language by doing (follows the cognitive theory). - We participate and communicate with each other in both languages at the beginning phase. - We create a situation, and based on the context, you learn the basic vocabulary necessary to communicate. -The emphasis is on fluency rather than accuracy. Don't worry about errors; they are an integral part of your learning experience! -It is a student-centered approach. We will design the class together, according to your immediate needs. -Spanish learning is not getting mastery over single sentences, but to develop an ability to participate in the discussion or in writing. -As a teacher, I am resourceful to develop material according to your needs.
