About Anastasia
My name is Ana and I am a Spanish teacher, interpreter and translator. I have significant experience within the Spanish language, including continuous tutoring with different student age groups. I started to learn Spanish in 1995 in school with profound study of the Spanish language. After school, I continued my study at the Moscow State Pedagogical University for 5 years (Master's degree in Teaching Spanish, diploma with distinction). My work experience in tutoring has 17 years starting from university. Also, I worked as an interpreter for 3 years in the Embassy of Mexico and for 2 years in Big Ben School of Foreign Languages as a teacher of Spanish. If you want to learn Spanish in an interesting way, if you want to have deep knowledge of Spanish and have the possibility to communicate in one of the most popular languages in the world, I would be happy to help!

I use a communicative method in language teaching, it means that during classes we speak only Spanish (also in A1), however in difficult situations I can explain in English. Basic level book is usually "Español en marcha A1-A2", "Nos vemos A1-A2" but I have a lot of materials apart. During the class we watch videos in Spanish and listen to audio. A1-A2 level is supposed to give some basic vocabulary on many topics and basic grammar (e.g. present/past/future). It will be good enough to communicate in daily situations. Levels B1-B2 imply more complex grammar and more variety of topics. I include book Dele B1-B2 for these levels. Certainly, I always try to know the wishes of my students and make our classes as useful as possible.

I’m Anastasia’s professor at the Pedagogical University and I remember her like brilliant student, creative and punctual which was a ver rare combination among young people who just finished school. I don’t think it can change with time, so I’m sure she really is trustworthy.
Anastasia is a wonderful teacher! Lessons with her are very fast and interesting, they are never limited to exercises in textbooks. She is very friendly, but also demanding, always meet halfway! Anastasia has high competencies, she explains everything clearly, sends a lot of different materials, including video and audio materials. I am very glad that I have such a teacher!
