About Isabella
My passion for Spanish began when I discovered how beautifully expressive the language is and how rich its cultures are across different regions of the world. This interest inspired me to pursue a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics, where I explored grammar, phonetics, literature, and cultural studies in depth. For the past 7 years, I’ve taught students of all ages, helping them gain confidence through patient, structured, and encouraging guidance. I teach with a friendly and adaptable approach, making sure students feel understood and supported. I break down grammar into simple, manageable steps and use conversation practice to help learners apply new concepts naturally. Whether guiding pronunciation, explaining verb structures, or introducing cultural contexts, I work to make the learning experience meaningful and enjoyable. Outside teaching, I continue reading Spanish literature, watching films, listening to podcasts, and engaging with native speakers to keep my language skills authentic and current. This constant immersion allows me to bring fresh, real-world Spanish into every lesson. Helping students transform uncertainty into confidence and expression is incredibly fulfilling, and I put genuine care into every session.

Spanish becomes accessible and enjoyable when students learn to communicate naturally rather than relying solely on memorization. My lessons focus on vocabulary development, conversational fluency, grammar clarity, pronunciation, listening skills, and real-life language use. I create a warm, supportive environment where learners feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and gradually building confidence.
Beginners learn essential verbs, present-tense structures, everyday expressions, and simple dialogues built around real situations. Intermediate students practice past and future tenses, descriptive language, reading comprehension, and longer conversations. Advanced learners explore fluent discussion, idioms, advanced grammar, structured writing, and preparation for exams or travel. Each lesson blends explanation, repetition, guided speaking, and cultural insight to reinforce learning.
Studying Spanish helps learners develop communication skills, cultural awareness, and adaptability. Students grow more confident as they understand patterns, express opinions, and handle real-world situations using Spanish. My goal is to create lessons that feel motivating and enjoyable, helping learners develop not only accuracy but also expressive, natural fluency.
