About Angie
I am a qualified Spanish teacher, passionate about languages, pedagogy and philosophy. I have done my studies in Colombia (my country of origin), Spain and France. (Javeriana University, University of Barcelona and University of Poitiers). About my background: I have a bachelor’s degree in modern languages, a master's degree in philosophy and a master's degree in multilingualism, applied translation and cultural economics. I have been a teacher for 9 years, in different schools and institutions as well as at the Javeriana University (teacher of languages pedagogy). Spanish is not only my native language but also a language I know very well. I am a translator and interpreter specialised in sociology and philosophy (French-Spanish and English-Spanish). The last event where I did simultaneous interpreting was the "à Corps" festival in Poitiers (from French to Spanish), and my last translated book was Lo que nos enseñan los animales sobre política by Brian Massumi (from English to Spanish) About me: I am an avid reader, I love art, cinema, theatre, music (especially salsa and rock). I also love ice-cream. I enjoy nature as well as the simple things in life. Finally, I make podcasts (in Spanish) :)
