About Sophie
I have a genuine passion for languages and believe that learning to speak another language opens the door to the rest of the world. As someone who enjoys traveling and connecting with people from different cultures, I’ve experienced firsthand how valuable it is to communicate confidently in another language. That’s one of the reasons I love teaching. I truly enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for Spanish and helping students overcome any challenges they face along the way. Whether you're working towards an exam or simply want to improve your fluency, I aim to make each lesson supportive, enjoyable and tailored to your needs. I believe language learning should be fun, accessible, and empowering for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

I take a friendly, student-focused approach, tailoring each lesson to individual needs and goals. I place an emphasis on oral fluency through conversation, role-play and real-life scenarios, while also covering grammar, vocabulary and exam preparation. Lessons are typically 45 minutes long and suitable for learners of any age at Junior or Leaving Certificate level, as well as A1 to B2 Spanish. I hold a degree from UCD, studied in Pamplona, and trained at Instituto Cervantes. My goal is to build confidence and fluency in a supportive, engaging environment.
