About Olga
I have a wide and long experience dealing with many students of different goals, levels of preparation and nationalities. My background as a scientist and as a teacher in many areas of Biological Sciences allows me to help with confidence by relating with each student and adjusting my teaching strategies and methods to his/her particular needs. I am patient and a good listener and also try that every student opens up to express his limitations, obstacles and weakness as well as the strengths he/she has, so I can determine where and when my interventions are necessary. I will work to cultivate a good communication and trust between me and the student. Each student has to trust that I care for the problems/difficulties he/she are facing to learn. Together we can work to achieve changes that improve the student's future academic performance and give the confidence, focus and strength to overcome any obstacles in their future endeavors.

I am an experienced teacher that has helped students pursuing careers in Science, mostly in Biological areas and Medicine. I can adjust my strategies for teaching according to the needs and level of preparation of each student. I will follow their progress carefully at each step. Initially, I have to learn about each student and assess his/her needs, motivation and goals. I firmly believe that any student can be successful in any area providing that he/she has the appropriate motivation, skills and background . I can help each student to improve and strengthen any of these areas with methods that support them. I also believe that learning a particular subject is not the final goal, my objective is to teach students how to learn on their own, to be able to progress and grow armed with the tools that they need to succeed in life.
