About Carmen
Hi, my name is Carmen and I'm from El Salvador (Central America) my native language is Spanish. I have a bachelor's degree in Languages and I have taught English and basic French. In my current job I'm a product trainer and that position has given me the opportunity to adapt my classes to the different types of learners (visual, kinesthetic, auditory) and I always learn from them too. I prioritize that my classes are a safe environment for each learner, I like to find ways to teach others what I know and to get to know personally each of my learners. I'm inspired and always looking for things to learn so I can broaden my knowledge and share it as well. I'll be happy to help you on your journey!

My teaching method consists in interacting together more than I talking alone, grammar structures well illustrated for visual learners and lots of practice with personalized topics. Also, we get to practice job interviews for high schoolers. This is a safe place for everybody to learn this beautiful language! We will start with the basics if needed, sounds of letters and vowels, numbers and animals. Then we continue to review verbs in different tenses, creating sentences that will include more and more vocabulary. My lessons are for students in elementary school to high school. It will be my pleasure to learn together!
