About Carlota
¡Hola! I'm Carlota, a certified language teacher with previous experience teaching Spanish and English to children, teens, and adults. I prepare my classes so, apart from learning, my students can have a good time! In my free time, I keep learning languages, enjoy art and nature, and write stories. As a teacher I prefer to say that I am a guide who would lead you through a learning journey full of practice and passion for the Spanish language. I use an inductive approach to make my students deduce as much as possible. You make connections in your mind through my guidance, and then we reinforce them through lots of practice. I usually try to make my classes more enjoyable by using gamification, which allows us to learn while also having a good time. I can adapt my content to your needs, no matter if that means exclusively practicing your speaking skills, wanting to focus on your grammar, or trying to reduce your accent. Levels from A1 to C2 are welcomed. I have experience working as a language private teacher since 2009. My education background includes a Master’s degree in Teacher Training, and Teaching Spanish as a Second Language courses. Giving feedback is another important element when learning as well as finding a personalized method that works for you. I will make you aware of the areas to improve, but you can let me know what is there to be changed in our classes too. Remember that you are the one who rules the roost, so I will be adapting the sessions to your preferences. Are you ready to join in?
