About Raúl

I am a Spanish citizen from Madrid that is currently living in Wellington to complement my studies in Victoria University of Wellington. I have provided classes both in English and Spanish for more than three years.

I know that learning a new language can feel intimidating, which is why my primary goal is to provide a professional, judgment-free environment where you feel completely comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and growing.

Because I understand the structural differences between English and Spanish, I can guide you through the specific problems that English speakers naturally face. I take the guesswork out of complex topics by breaking them down into clear and practical steps.

About the lesson

The aim is to get you speaking and using Spanish from day one, building confidence through actual communication rather than just memorizing grammar tables.

Lessons are usually around 60 minutes but can vary depending on your needs.

I am native from Spain born in Madrid and Spanish is my mother language. I have a C2 level in English (officially bilingual) and three years of experience teaching languages.

These lessons are optimized for adults and older teens (15+), ranging from Complete Beginners (A1) to Upper-Intermediate (C1) learners.

Whether you are learning Spanish for an upcoming trip to Latin America, trying to communicate better with your partner's family, or looking to boost your professional resume, my lessons are tailored for practical, everyday fluency.
