About Lyrah
Simply put, I am a student who loves languages. I took Spanish and French at GCSE, now A-Level and I have been accepted onto five French and Spanish degrees; among them King’s College London, University College London and University of Oxford. I have been told I have a knack for explaining, and have tutored various close friends throughout my time studying. I want to help others improve their language skills and get the most out of their studies. I hope to share a passion that I have for this subject.

I am passionate about languages. Having studied two foreign languages I know they can be tricky. I work alongside my students, firstly to overcome any struggles or difficult areas they want to work on, and secondly to improve general fluency. I enjoy building a relationship with my students and I tailor my tutoring to each one individually. We will perfect your grammar, exam-technique and all skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking. We will also watch films and read book extracts to improve general fluency and prove that learning a language doesn't have to be hard work. Lessons are typically an hour or two hours in length at a time on routine, agreed-upon dates and times.

Lyrah is amazing. She was my tutor during my GCSEs, we had lessons twice a week. I admit that I felt scared of wasting money on a tutor when I first tried finding one, but lessons with Lyrah were worth every penny.
