About Meritxell
Even before I became a Spanish teacher in the USA, I was a Spanish teacher in Spain. A very vocational choice for me! I enjoy working with students and sharing with them my passion for the language and the culture. Luckily, I have had the opportunity to do so for over 25 years and still loving it! Because of my professional experience, I am up to date with different educational methodologies. I have ample knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, and literature, since those are not only my professional fields, but also my personal interests. Working with young adults is invigorating and rewarding. Seeing students having an "aha!" moment is priceless.

I teach High School, from level I to "Advanced Level" (AP equivalent). I have a degree in Philology (Spanish language and literature). I am passionate about the subject, since Spanish is my first language and Spain is where I grew up.
