About Ainhoa
Hola! I'm a native Spanish speaker who grew up in Mallorca, Spain, before moving to London, where I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) with a score of 40/45, including a Level 7 in Higher Level Spanish. I'm fluent in both Spanish and English, and I understand first-hand what it takes to succeed in the IB system. Over the past four years, I’ve tutored students aged 14 to 18, helping them improve their Spanish skills at all levels — from beginners to those preparing for IB assessments, internal assignments (IAs), orals, and final exams. I’ve also completed training with Lanterna Education, which helped me further structure my approach to lessons and tailor my teaching methods to each student. In addition to tutoring, I work as a professional actor and hold a degree in International Business from the University of Bath. Outside the classroom, I love to travel, surf, and explore new cultures — something that’s deeply shaped my love for languages and communication. I'm passionate about helping students feel more confident in Spanish, whether they’re learning it for school or just for fun!

¡Hola! I’m a fluent Spanish and English speaker who completed the IB Diploma with a score of 40/45, earning a Level 7 in Higher Level Spanish. I’ve tutored students aged 14 to 18, helping with everything from basic grammar and conversation to IB internal assessments, oral exams, and final exam preparation. My classes are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I aim to make Spanish fun and accessible, whether you're just starting out or aiming for a top IB grade. I know how the IB curriculum works inside and out and can offer guidance on how to structure answers, improve fluency, and maximise marks in all assessment components. I’ve helped several students prepare for their IB Spanish mock and final exams, and I’ve also worked closely with two students on their IAs, helping them refine their language, argument structure, and grammar.
