About Nikzza
My name is Nikzza Acuna. I am an ASU student studying Bilingual Elementary Education! I will be graduating next year and starting a teaching job at a dual language (Spanish & English) school.
I am very passionate about working with students of all ages who are either wanting to learn Spanish, or are Spanish speakers looking to learn English!

In-Person & Virtual Lessons: (I am established in Tempe/Mesa AZ area, but willing to commute) (Virtual Lessons: Zoom, GoogleMeets, etc.)
- My lessons are conducted using a dual language immersion method: 1/2 lesson is taught/learned in English, 1/2 lesson is taught/learned in Spanish.
- A typical lesson plan will consist of phonemic awareness activities, homework assistance, practicing sentence structure, vocabulary help, etc.
- What sets me apart as a tutor is that Spanish was my first language so I understand the difficulties of coming from a Spanish speaking background and learning English, which helps me relate to students who are emerging English learners! I am also obtaining my Bilingual Education degree at ASU!
