About Joan
Hi everyone,
My name is Joan Martinez i was born in Argentina and raised in the beautiful city of Miami, Florida.
Two years ago I started teaching Spanish and English and found it captivating.
I also just finish my (ELE) certificate A1 - B2 for Spanish as a foreign language from the Instituto Cervantes in Spain.
I also have been teaching music for more than 12 years. So teaching is something I am very comfortable with.

I have a large library of books, websites and teaching units that I have collected and obtained from the web in all the subjects in which I teach. Whether for adults, youth and / or children.
Depending on the situation and / or the student's desired goal, this is where I can choose the content and structure the methods and strategies that will allow the student to learn more easily and clearly.
My teaching techniques and methods are always based on a positive environment that favors useful learning for practice. It is about moving forward from what they master and helping them to reach the fixed learning goal. Facilitate reflection on what they do, how they do it and provide the tools to improve their practice.

Joan is a great teacher. He made my learning process such a fun experience.
He has the gift of patience and combined with her fun techniques and jokes helped me to feel confident and learn the language. I have no doubt that he can teach anybody and make them fluent. The music translation writing along with the karaoke sing-along helped me learn and pronounce properly just like magic.
