About Emily
Since my first trip to Costa Rica 13 years ago, I have had a passion for Spanish language and culture that I love sharing with others. As a non-native speaker with 8 years of Spanish education and 10 years of fluency, I have learned the most effective ways to gain and maintain fluency. I am married to a native Spanish speaker and we speak only Spanish at home with our Spanish dominant 2 year old. Pretty much every time someone who didn't know I speak Spanish hears me speak it they ask, "Wow, how long did it take you to learn and how did you do it?". While it is a process that requires hard work, it is one of the most rewarding things I've done in my life. Which is why I can't wait to help you towards your Spanish goals!
