About Cami
Hi! My name is Cami, I am 27 years old and I have a passion for the Spanish language. I have taken Spanish in school since kindergarten and for a total of 13 years. I graduated high school with a Seal of Biliteracy and have since had the privilege of acting as a translator in a couple of Spanish-speaking countries. I have tutored students of all ages ranging from 5 years old to adult and my goal is to find the best way to help you learn and connect with Spanish through whatever methods work best for you.

I know not everyone learns things in the same way and so I always do my best to find a way to explain things differently/in new ways that connect with you so that Spanish might start to feel easier or come more naturally to you over time. I have gotten to work with a lot of different students and have used different methods such as speaking together in Spanish, memorization tools, practice quizzes, online resources, explaining things through my own experience with learning Spanish, etc.
I know it isn't always easy learning a new language and can be frustrating, confusing or even (I hate to say) boring at times - but the benefits of speaking Spanish are amazing and it's very fulfilling being able to understand or speak with other people in Spanish that you might have never gotten to speak to. It opens up a lot of opportunities for new experiences. These lessons are for everyone and I am happy to tutor you whether you need help with a class or just want to learn as a personal goal.
