About Jose
I came to the United States as a student-athlete to play soccer at the college level. After my time as a player, I spent several years coaching soccer, working closely with individuals and teams to help them develop both skills and confidence.
Alongside my passion for coaching and working with people, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Memorial University. I am currently continuing my professional path by working toward my licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, deepening my understanding of communication, behavior, and human development.
In the meantime, I am teaching Spanish lessons. My approach focuses not only on learning the language, but also on building confidence and helping students express themselves naturally.
I bring professionalism, consistency, and a genuine commitment to each student’s progress. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and able to improve steadily.

Language is a tool for connection, so my goal is to build both confidence and fluency from day one.
I combine structured learning with conversational practice. My sessions are based on:
Active speaking from the start – even beginners speak in the first lesson.
Context-based learning – vocabulary and grammar are taught through real situations (travel, work, dating, daily life).
Error-friendly environment – mistakes are part of the process; I guide and correct without interrupting flow.
Adaptability – I adjust to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style.
Body awareness & communication – I integrate tone, rhythm, and expression to make the language feel natural
