About Rebecca
A little about me
Hi! I’m Becca, a passionate special education teacher who believes every student can learn when they are given the right support, encouragement, and tools to succeed. I have experience working with students across elementary grade levels and supporting a wide range of learning needs in reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and study skills.
My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and individualized. I take the time to get to know each student, identify their strengths and areas for growth, and create lessons that build both skills and confidence. I love making learning engaging and celebrating those “aha!” moments along the way!
If your child needs a tutor who will meet them where they are, make learning feel less overwhelming, and cheer them on every step of the way, I’d love to work with them!

About My Lessons
My lessons are personalized, engaging, and focused on helping students build both academic skills and confidence. I meet students where they are and use strategies, activities, and explanations that match their individual learning style and needs.
Sessions may include targeted support in reading, phonics, writing, math, executive functioning, study skills, or homework. I like to keep lessons interactive and positive while providing plenty of opportunities for students to practice, receive feedback, and celebrate their progress.
My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling successful, supported, and a little more confident than when they started.
