About Trista
My name is Trista Fetzer. I live in a small town in Pennsylvania. I have 4 kiddos (2 girls and 2 boys) and I also have 2 dogs! Coaching and teaching students is one of my greatest passions. I coach 4th-6th grade cross country, 4th-6th grade girls basketball, junior high girls basketball, and I also help coach softball. Some of my favorite things to do in my spare time include reading, exercising, spending time with my family, hunting/fishing, hiking, and making food. I have been working in the education field for about 10 years now. I am currently working on my Master's degree in special education. Teaching students with different learning disabilities has always been a passion of mine.

I assess the students needs and abilities (based off of IEP's). I will then look at curriculum and decide what modifications and/or accommodations may be needed. My lesson plans include introducing a new lesson/unit/topic. I will include students as much as possible to allow them to tell me what they know or what they think they know. We will do a lecture on the topic and provide different materials for learning.
The lesson plans are targeted differently for each student.
